A Call to the Body of Christ to Pray in the Spirit.

A Call to the Body of Christ to Pray in the Spirit.

I was praying on Wednesday morning the 3rd of June 2015 with a concern for the body of Christ in my heart. We see many churches shrivelling up, corruption in governments, lack of penetration of the gospel, apathy in the saints, persecution increasing and good being called evil and evil being called good. Christians are being prejudiced against and many are even being killed. I sensed the call of God for the body of Christ to release Kingdom atmosphere to stop this.

It is time for the saints to rise up to release the atmosphere of Heaven!

The Amazon river is the biggest river in the world in terms of volume of water that flows out of it in the rainy season. Thousands of rivers flow into it to form this body of water. In flood it pushes fresh water hundreds of miles out to sea. Anything resisting its flow gets pushed aside. This shows what happens when rivers flow together.

In John 7:38-39 Jesus says Rivers of living water will flow from the innermost beings of those who believe. He was speaking of the Spirit. Praying in the Spirit releases rivers of prayer. Imagine if 10,000 saints in each nation they live in, let these rivers flow together from them into a Holy Spirit flood. This is very easy to do. Each one just has to just decide to do it. This Holy Spirit flood would begin to push darkness out of every nation where the saints do this.

I have been in prayer meetings all over the world and seen few very fervent effective prayer meetings where all the saints in the gatherings, are praying simultaneously, with all their strength in the Spirit, at a level that is required to change the atmosphere in their nation by causing a Holy Spirit flood.

In 1 Timothy 2:1 Paul urges petitions, prayers, intercessions and thanksgivings be offered for all men. Why is this? Because it changes the atmosphere when these prayers are offered. Good atmosphere causes men to be saved (verse 4). Good atmosphere leads to heavenly seed flourishing and producing. The rivers of Spirit inspired prayer push aside bad atmosphere and replace it with the atmosphere of the Kingdom of God.

I believe God spoke to me and said, “Vision 10,000!”

Vision 10,000 is to get 10,000 people in each country to pray in the Spirit fervently and effectively.

I can help with tools to equip people to pray in the Spirit and in my book show you how to successfully run corporate prayer meetings, but I cannot do it for you. Each one of you has to decide to do this for yourself.

If you think the Kingdom of God has any value to your nation, towns and cities, then get involved in prayer and increase the influence of the Spirit where you live by releasing Kingdom atmosphere from your innermost being. Your life will be changed if you do this.

Pray in the Spirit!

How to get your Breakthrough

Breakthrough has a sound. Victory has a sound. It was a sound that brought down the walls of Jericho. We need the sound of breakthrough in our lives. I have heard many Christians talking about their need for a breakthrough in their lives. This has prompted me to search this out. The Lord spoke to me and said, “Breakthrough has a sound!” We need to agree with this sound.

The Amplified Bible says in Matt 18v19, “Again I tell you, if two of you on earth agree, (harmonize together, make a symphony together) about whatever (anything and everything) they may ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. “

Thayer’s Greek Lexicon defines “agree together” in Matt 18v19 as:  to sound together, be in accord together as musical instruments, to harmonize.

So we need to harmonize with the sound of breakthrough in the heavenlies. We will then see it manifest on the earth in our lives. What does this mean in plain words? You can either stir yourself in the Spirit and get to a place where you make the sound of breakthrough by yourself, or get to a corporate meeting where this happens, or get a recording of the “Breakthrough” sound, put it on nice and loud in your house and harmonize with it. In other words join in with the sound the recording releases. (Break the sound barrier with your own voice). The sound of “Breakthrough”carries the power for the “Breakthrough”. The Words Jesus spoke were sound. The words of God spoken out your mouth are sound! Play the sound of Breakthrough over and over in your house. Agree with it. Declare your need met as you agree with the sound!

Go to  www.mobilisenow.com  for a free download. Hover your mouse over “Media”, go down the list in the drop down to the Battle in Wales, right click and download. Let the sound of Breakthrough fill your house. Harmonise with it and agree with it.

Please write your testimony in the comments box as things in your lives are shifted and reordered.

The Battle for Wales Nov 2013

A week ago we were in Northern Wales praying in the Holy Spirit for the nation. Here is a brief recording of one of the pivotal moments in the battle. You will sense the victory that was enforced. Last night (Thursday) I had a phone call from Pastor Nico Simon from Wales. They had just had another prayer meeting and the presence of God was so strong the people did not want to go home.

Things to look out for as you listen to the track:

1. Notice the pressure we release into the heavenlies. It is sustained and continued until the victory is enforced.
2. We pray from our bellies. The rivers flow from our innermost beings. These are not head originated prayers.
3. Notice the rise and falls of the prayer waves and the tempo changes. Elijah rose and fell in his prayer tempo in 1 Kings 18v42 onwards.
4. We do not change our focus or direction until we have finished the flow of what the Holy Spirit is doing.
5. We interpret what is happening and keep our minds attentive to the language, the intensity and the pressure of what the Holy Spirit is doing.
6. We only stop praying when we have the peace of God.
7. Notice the roar of the Lion. Is 42v13

MobiliseNow News Letter Nov 2013.

It’s mid November already, where did the year go? We have had a busy year this year. I have felt the need to focus on Praying with God this year as we move into the new season God has started in His church. Dr Bill Hamon, founder of Christian International has called this move “the day of the saints”. The saints doing the work of the ministry. I am looking at getting the rivers released from out of the saints to add momentum to this move. Rivers of God, from the Holy Spirit, unleashed through Praying With God.

The ministry I have really enjoyed doing this year, has been the “Praying With God” courses I have done in three local churches, with amazing results. The feedback has ranged from “lifechanging”, to, “the atmosphere has changed completely in our meetings”. I had one of the pastors tell me that he has a young man in his church that has to leave early on Sundays to play football. Shortly after we had been in his church, this young man didn’t want to leave the service early because God was moving. I love hearing stories like that.

I will be ministering in Cheltenham in the UK this coming Tuesday 19th of November and then I will be a part of a crusade in North Wales starting on Friday the 22nd through to Sunday. Hopefully details will be sent to me for me to post them on our events page.

Have a look at the new website. You will see I have written an ebook as well. I have tried to capture what I have learnt about Praying With God over the years, in a concise way. I have being meaning to write a book for about 8 years, so now it’s done.
This book is very relevant to the times we are living in today!

We have started an online shop to help finance MobiliseNow. I am travelling more and more, often to groups who are unable to fund my visits. I want to keep visiting these kind of groups. So please support the shop!

Thank you all for your support over the last years.

Blessings,

John Alcock.

Look to the unseen realm

Look to the unseen eternal, higher realm. John Alcock

Overcoming Unbelief

Recently at a healing activation workshop in Evesham we looked at how hardness of heart and unbelief stop us moving in the power of God and doing miracles. Paul tells us in 2Cor4v18 to look not to what is seen but to what is unseen. This is looking into the eternal realm. This realm is of higher authority than the natural realm. It supercedes the natural realm.

We connect to the natural realm through our senses and feelings. Things that anchor us to the natural realm are our educations (both religious and secular), our traditions, our habits, our experiences, our failures or successes, our natural wisdom, the media, the culture around us, our families, our friends and the environments we live in to name a few. Yet Paul says look not to the natural or Seen things but look to the Eternal things for they are unchanging, unlike seen things.

We did an interesting excercise which I would recommend you dear reader do.  I drew a horizontal line in the middle of a whiteboard. Above the line we labelled the eternal or higher realm, underneath we labelled the seen or natural realm. We then listed all the benefits we have In Christ in the heavenly realm as per Eph 1v3 above the line,  and what we have in the natural realm underneath that line. It soon became obvious where we need to focus and draw our comfort and strength and vision from.  The Kingdom of God manifests around us when we live from the higher eternal realm, the place of being seated in Christ in the heavenly (eternal) realm, and allow that to manifest through our lives into the natural realm. We must live not moved by what we see or hear or feel in the natural realm, but by what we see and hear and are moved by in the eternal realm.

How do we stay in this place of being seated in Christ in the heavenly realm in the midst of all the day to day pressures and demands that are being made on us?

I think Psa 103 is an amazing example of how to do this. Praise the Lord and meditate on all His goodness and kindness to us. David meditates in the Word and stirs and remembers himself into a place of excitement before the Lord. He remembers all the blessings God pours out on him. Last but not least Pray in tongues plenty.

There is a teaching on avoiding hardness of heart and unbelief in our “Media” section under MP3 teachings.

I have had a lot of feedback from people as to how this teaching  has helped them.

God Bless,

John.

Working with God rather than for God.

Understanding the realm of the Spirit May 2011 by John Alcock.

We are in Him, He is in us, He is in the Father, The Father is in Him, He and the Father are one, We too are filled with the Godhead (Coloss2v10 Amplified). We have to learn to flow in and release this amazing life and power the Father has given us in Christ. The above link is to a zipped file you can download and open on your computer explaining some of who we are in Christ and how to move in this.

Releasing the power of God… a workshop for every believer.

Releasing the power of God by John Alcock: This is an equipping workshop to activate the rivers of God that flow from the innermost beings of believers in Jesus Christ.  It is well worth listening right to the end as keys to release and receive the power of God are explained and demonstrated. There is a powerful testimony of what flowing like this in God’s power achieved in a dump in Natal South Africa at the end of the track.

Why do we dream?

Num 12v6. If there is a prophet among you I, the Lord, make myself known to him in a vision or a dream.

During sleep our reasoning is dormant while our imagination is active. God has our full attention and we cannot control what is happening. If we were awake when we dreamed, we would probably zone out the thoughts or experiences we were having as illogical or meaningless.

Dreams bypass the natural thinking of men and women, saved or unsaved.

1 Cor2V14. The non-spiritual man does not accept into his heart the gifts and teachings and revelations of the Spirit of God, for they are meaningless to him.

This passage is written to born again people.  Consider Heb 5v11-14.  It speaks about the fact that if we feed on milk the whole time or we are lazy in spiritual things we will not grow in our spiritual faculties.  We need to be trained in the things of God.  We need to apply ourselves to the things of God.  2 Peter1v3-9 says a similar thing.

The word of God reshapes the patterns of our thinking.  Rom 12v2 “says be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is the good and acceptable will of God.”

Lance Wallenau, an apostle in the Christian International network, uses a good illustration of how our minds work.  He says our thoughts are like marbles and our minds are like clay.  As we grow up, our thoughts, like marbles, keep dropping into our minds, the clay.  The dropping marbles wear grooves in the clay over time.  The grooves get deeper and deeper and patterns of thinking are formed.  The result is we categorise things into each of these grooves and become set in our responses and understanding in different areas.  Each time we receive a thought or an idea we will categorize it into a set pattern of thinking.  We could call this our logic.

Certainly our thinking patterns or grooves shape our lives.  They are a result of our family background, education, worldview (shaped to a large extent by the media), experience, culture, religious teaching.  From these grooves we get our perspective on life, habits, prejudices, values and so on.

Our thoughts will follow preconditioned processes through us and shape our responses and actions in life.

Why does Jesus tell us to come as little children?  Because these grooves are less established.  Children are more open to new ideas than most adults.

Now when God drops thoughts from His Spirit into our minds, unless we have exercised our senses to discern His “voice”, these thoughts follow the same paths and patterns of our own thoughts and we might reject them as unimportant or silly because they don’t fit into one of our grooves of thought.  We don’t discern the difference between soul and Spirit.

The answer is to be transformed by the renewing of your mind that, “You may prove what is the good and acceptable will of God.”

NB The voice of God in our mind sounds like our own thoughts most of the time, but it carries a ring that you learn to recognise as you grow in God and in fellowship with Him.  You must train yourself to hear “The still small voice.”  Jesus said, “My sheep know My voice” John 10v4.

So what are we to do?

Rom 12v2. We need to be transformed by the renewing of our minds.

We need to exercise our spiritual senses. Heb 5 11-14.

We need to learn the language of the Spirit. We are new creatures and have a new language.

Be renewed in the spirit of your mind Eph 4v23

We need to seek, ask, knock, and take our inheritance seriously.

This is why we need a foundation of the words of God so we can divide soul and Spirit.  The idea is we want to have spiritual clay in our head that can be shaped by the Word of God and the thoughts of the Spirit.  In other words become like little children in that we start all over again to shape our thoughts God’s way Rom 12v2.

In conclusion

God gives us dreams to bypass any limitations we might have in receiving revelations from Him.  Much of the time He has spoken similar messages to us in other ways which we might not have received.  Such is God’s love for us that He wants to communicate a lot with us.  As we search out the meaning of the dream or dreams we have, we draw closer into Him.  Ask the Lord to give you dreams and tell Him you will take them seriously.  Write them down and then search out their meaning with the help of the Holy Spirit.  There will be further instruction on interpretation of dreams and the language of the Spirit in new articles on this site.
